Paraggi, a naturalistic jewel of the Ligurian Riviera, is a splendid bay located between Santa Margherita Ligure and Portofino. Famous for its emerald sea and its enchanting beach, the bay of Paraggi is made up of a small but charming village of houses. It was once a village of fishermen and millers who exploited the abundance of water of the so-called Acqua Viva and Acqua Morta streams used as a workforce for dozens of mills, which served the entire area, some still visitable along the Via dei Mulini.
